OTTAWA LAKE — Sand Creek built a 30-0 halftime lead with several long touchdown runs and held off Whiteford 42-16 Thursday in a Tri-County Conference junior varsity game.

Cole Giesige scored both of the Bobcat touchdowns, one from 20 yards in the third quarter and a fourth quarter score that covered 60 yards.

The JV Bobcats will travel to Clinton next week.
