Whiteford Cross Country coach Jim Hojnacki reported the following details from Tuesday’s Blissfield Early Bird Invitational at Gerber Park in Lenawee County:
The girls were short-handed, but our three runners ran well. They were led by Emma Lough (29:02) in 74th place. She was followed by Josie Emmerson (31:42) and Addie Hodgkins (38:01). It was a personal best time for Josie and season-best for Addie.
The boys team finished in 10th place. Scoring for the boys were Corbin Willis (35th in 19:48), Camden Willis (50th, 20:43), McCarty Simmons (55th, 21:05), Logan Bunge-Lance (67th, 21:36) and Daniel Gapp (70th, 21:47). Christian Rogers (24:56) and Isaac Gapp (25:05) both ran personal best times.
Next up for the Bobcats is the TCC Jamboree on Tuesday at Sand Creek .
