OTTAWA LAKE — Whiteford’s JV football team recorded its first shut out of the season Thursday, beating Morenci 34-0.

Deondre Shaw scored the first two Bobcat touchdowns and Devon Shaw the third as Whiteford jumped out to a 22-0 halftime lead. Brady Tezsnar scooped up an onside kick to key the Bobcats third touchdown of the half.

Zach Renaud scored on a long run in the second half for the 5-1 Bobcats.
