It’s Week 8 of the high school football season. The Whiteford Bobcats will travel to Clinton, where they have never won.

However, the Bobcats will have a bit of history on their side. Week 8 has been the best week of the season, historically, for Whiteford. In 60 Week 8 games, the Bobcats are 45-15 (.750) in games played all-time during Week 8, more wins than any other week of the season.

Whiteford is 0-7 all-time at Clinton, including the worst loss in school history – a 66-0 drubbing by the Redskins in 1977. The Bobcats won their first-ever varsity football game against Clinton last season, beating the Redskins 38-12. The Bobcats are 1-13 vs. Clinton all-time.

The Bobcats can clinch a share of the TCC title with a victory.
