Whiteford’s girls basketball team has its first five-game win streak in four years. The fifth win in a row came Friday against Melvindale in a non-league contest.
Baylee Baldwin scored 17 points and Lindsey Walker 14 – each hitting a 3-pointer – as Whiteford improved to 5-2 on the season. Eleven different Bobcats scored at least one field goal.
Whiteford returns to Tri-County Conference play next week when they host Clinton on Tuesday.
