SAND CREEK — Whiteford’s baseball team handed Sand Creek its first Tri-County Conference loss of the season Friday, beating the Aggies 2-1 in the first game of a doubleheader.

Nathan Bauman picked up the pitching win for the Bobcats in the opener, going the distance and striking out seven. Ty Eitniear had two hits and Austin Wynn also had a hit.

Sand Creek won the second game, 3-0.

Eitniear took the loss in the second game despite allowing just three hits. Wynn had a hit.
