NEWPORT – Levi Hillard had two hits and Camden Willis two RBIs but it wasn’t enough to carry the Bobcats past Monroe Jefferson Friday.

The Bears won 11-7 by scoring five runs in the fourth and three more in the fifth.

Bryce Wing, Eric Parriett, Austin Wynn and Willis all had hits for the Bobcats. Willis slugged a double.

The 9-14 Bobcats are back in action today when they host state-ranked Hudson at 10 a.m. for a doubleheader.
