NEWPORT — Whiteford needed three innings to get past Monroe Jefferson Friday, winning 19-3.

Katie Lipp and Lindsey Walker hit home runs. Baylee Baldwin and Karsyn Berns-Moore  had two hits apiece.

Walker was the winning pitcher in the circle.
