PETERSBURG — Summerfield held off Whiteford’s varsity girls basketball team Thursday, beating the Bobcats 36-33.

Natalia DiTerlizzi hit two shots late in the game to keep the Bobcats close before the Bulldogs extended the lead with free throws.

DiTerlizzi and Paige Thomas scored 10 points each for Whiteford. Emma Olrich (5), Kinzie Kohler (4), Emma Spradling (2) and Zoe Bauman (2) also scored for the 7-9 Bobcats.
