OTTAWA LAKE — Whiteford’s Cari Hayes, who has been the official photographer for Whiteford athletics for the last several years, was honored Friday as the Boosters Fan of the Year.

Hayes is in her final months of taking photographs of Whiteford sporting events.

The Boosters annually honors a Whiteford fan for their dedication and commitment to the Whiteford sports community. Hayes began taking photos several years ago, replacing longtime photographer Debbie Vaughn. She has followed the Bobcats across the state, taking photographs and documenting championship runs and sporting events. She also annually takes team photographs and individual player photos.
