When stacked against all other sports years in Whiteford history, the 1987-88 fall-winter-spring seasons rank among the finest in Bobcat history.

The football team reached the playoffs for the first time, the boys basketball team won a league and district title and was ranked among the top 10 all season and, in the spring, the Bobcat softball marched to another state title game appearance.
