Bluestreaks swept by Whiteford, 4-1 and 8-5

OTTAWA LAKE – Whiteford swept a non-conference doubleheader from Ida Friday, winning 4-1 and 8-5.

In the first game, Eric Parriett got the win, allowing just three hits over six innings while striking out five. Cole Crouch earned the save.

Shea Ruddy, Cole Giesige, Logan Tammerine, Levi Hillard and Luke Rasor all had one hit to lead the Bobcat hitting attack.

Tammerine had a great nightcap, blasting a home run in the first inning and totaling five RBI on three hits for the game. He doubled in the fourth inning.

Giesige got the win for the Bobcats, striking out six. Hillard, Crouch and Giesige had multiple-hit efforts for Whiteford, which improved to 3-5 on the season.
