Whiteford finished second in the TCC Jamboree Tuesday with two finishers in the top six and three in the top 11.
Keegan Masters placed third (17:58.7), Elliott Rodgers sixth (19:09.8) and Luke Murphy 11th (19:47.8).
“We ran well tonight,” Whiteford coach Jay Yockey said. “The last two meets we have been out a runner for one reason or another and that plays a factor into our results, but those who needed to step up tonight did. It’s funny how one meet can be cold and rainy with a sloppy course, then the next it is hot and dry. But everyone showed up and performed.”
The Bobcats race next at Clinton Invitational Saturday.
