OTTAWA LAKE — Whiteford got back on the winning track Thursday, beating Morenci in varsity volleyball, 25-16, 25-19, 25-20.

“Every single girl played and was a contributor tonight,” Whiteford coach Janie Bunge said.Allison Spradling had 8 kills.

Aly Vanbrandt had 5 kills, 4 aces, and 12 digs; Jessica Ulery added 5 kills; Anna Vanbrandt had 15 digs; Alaina Andrews had 20 assists, and 4 aces.

The Bobcats are 6-3 in the TCC and 8-13-2 overall.

In the JV match, the Bobcats won all three of their sets as well, 25-23, 25-23, 15-8.

Aubrie Simmons had 13 digs and Shay Alexander had 14 digs. Sofie Minkowski had 5 kills. Anna Schober had 10 assists.
