Whiteford will open the 2021-22 girls basketball campaign Tuesday with a road game against Blissfield.

The Bobcats are coming off a 4-11 season while the Royals went 8-8 last year.

Whiteford will be under the direction of Les Manley, who will be starting his seventh season as the Bobcat head coach. Only Kris Hubbard has had a longer coaching tenure of the Whiteford girls than Manley.

Whiteford’s last district championship came in 1991 while its last Tri-County Conference title was in 2000.
