CLINTON — Whiteford’s girls basketball team will enter the Division 3 District Monday as one of the hottest teams in the area.
The Bobcats beat Clinton 47-35 Saturday afternoon for their seventh consecutive victory and head into District play 9-11.
Kinzie Kohler scored 12 points, Madelyn Thomas chipped in with 9, Zoe Bauman scored 8 and Ava Hillard had 7. The Bobcats outscored Clinton in every quarter but the fourth, building a 40-25 lead through three quarters.
The Bobcats open district play against Sand Creek at Madison on Monday.
