Whiteford’s path to the state championship game will go through Mount Pleasant Sacred Heart.

The Bobcats will take on Sacred Heart at 3 p.m. Friday in the first Division 4 semifinal game at Michigan State University.

The other semifinal, which will be at 5:30 p.m. Friday, is between Unionville-Sebewaing and Pickford. USA got past Riverview Gabriel Richard, 7-2, and Pickford eased past Hillman, 5-4.

The Bobcats are 39-4 heading into the weekend.
