OTTAWA LAKE — Blissfield brought an 18-1 record to Whiteford Tuesday and escaped with a win, but not before the Bobcats put some bruises on them.

Blissfield won 25-18, 20-25, 25-11.

“They are a good team,” Whiteford coach Janie Bunge said. “We should have competed better in all those sets. We struggle with confidence.”

Kenzie Gray led the Bobcats with 6 kills while Aly VanBrandt had 8 digs and Alaina Andrews had 20 assists.

Whiteford is 1-4 on the season.
