KALAMAZOO – Shea Ruddy broke three Whiteford records Friday as the Bobcats beat Division 1 Kalamazoo Loy Norrix, 66-7.

Ruddy threw for five touchdowns to set the single game Bobcat record and broke career records for total completions and total offense in the win.

He completed three TD passes – including the record breaker – to his brother, Ryin, and two to Hunter DeBarr. Jake Iott added three rushing touchdowns and Caden Schroyer scored a second half touchdown.

The Bobcats gave up a kick return touchdown, but nothing else to the 1-6 Knights.

Whiteford, who improved to 7-0, also clinched no worse than a share of the TCC title because of Erie Mason’s loss. Whiteford takes on Erie Mason next week in its final TCC game of the season. 

Ruddy finished the game with 219 passing yards. Iott rushed for 91 yards and DeBarr caught three passes for 108 yards. 

Iott had seven tackles on defense and Shea Ruddy five.
