SALINE – Whiteford won a non-conference girls basketball tilt Monday, beating Saline Washtenaw Christian 49-41.
The Bobcats got a career-high 10 points from Anna Schober, who hit a 3-pointer and went 3-for-4 from the free throw line. Annie Gapp added 9 points with Jessica Ulery and Madelyn Thomas each scoring 8 points.
The Bobcats improved to 7-10 on the season. They have won two straight and four of their past five games with Britton Deerfield coming to Whiteford on Thursday.
