BRITTON – Emily Hill scored 11 of her 13 points in the second quarter as Whiteford outscored Britton Deerfield 19-4 and pulled away for the win.
“She ran the baseline against their zone, and we were able to penetrate and find her some easy buckets,” said interim Bobcat coach Shauna Rasor.
Annie Gapp had 11 rebounds and Emily Rasor had four assists for Whiteford, who has won three straight and five of its last six games to improve to 8-10. They finished 4-8 in the TCC.
