Whiteford will open its defense of Tri-County Conference baseball and softball titles this week and hit the track for th e start of track and field season – the second year on the new track and first year for head coach Jay Yockey.

The season openers are:

BASEBALL: Whiteford at Hudson, 4 p.m. Tuesday

SOFTBALL: Whiteford at Blissfield, 4 p.m. Thursday.

TRACK AND FIELD: Whiteford vs. Ida, 4:30 p.m. Thursday
