Whiteford’s boys won all four relays. Shea Ruddy took first in the 400, Stepan Masserant won the pole vault, Kolby Masserant was first in the long jump and Keegan Masters was a double winner – the 1600 and 3200.

“We switched some events up today on the guys side, but we saw PRs and season records set,” Whiteford coach Jay Yockey said. “We had a lot of second and third place finishes as well. The boys finished out the dual meet portion of the season undefeated.”

In the girls event, Mackenzie Ulery won the 100 and 200. She was also on the winning the 4×100 relay with Riley DeSilvis, Haley Luse and Adriana Indoval.

DeSilvis won the long jump and Alaina McClain took the 800. The 4×200 relay team also won.

“The girls are gritty,” Yockey said. “I love watching them compete and stepping it up when it really matters. To help seal the deal with Morenci we had Margo Thomas and Bailey Vance run the 3200 together to help gain more points.”

The Bobcats will compete Saturday at Hillsdale as tune up for regionals.
