Logan Tammerine was the story in Game 1, striking out 14 batters as Whiteford beat Summerfield 3-1. The Bobcats took Game 2 5-0.

Brendon Masters had two hits in the opener with Shea Ruddy, Luks Rasor, Nate Stevens, Caden Schroyer and Ryin Ruddy getting the others.

Tammerine went seven innings, giving up three hits and one earned run.

In Game 2, Stevens and Schroyer cobined on the shutout, allowing just one Summerfield hit. Stevens struck out nine. Tammerine had two hits.

The Bobcats are 9-1 in the TCC with a doubleheader remaining. If the Bobcats sweep the doubleheader, the worst they can do is tie for the TCC championship with Madison.

The Bobcats are 16-6 overall.
