OTTAWA LAKE — Whiteford softball coach Matt VanBrandt recently passed career win No. 200 in baseball and softball.
VanBrandt went 106-60-1 in six seasons of coaching the Bobcat varsity baseball team from 2002 to 2007. In his three seasons as the Bobcat varsity softball coach, Whiteford is 98-13. His career record in the two sports is 204-73-1 with five TCC championships and four district championships.
