Whiteford’s Logan Tammerine has been chosen to the First Team Division 3 All-State team by the Michigan High School Baseball Coaches Association.

Tammerine, a junior, led Whiteford to league, district and regional championships this past season. He made the team as a pitcher after tying a school record with 10 victories and striking out 114 batters in 65.1 innings pitched.

Tammerine finished the season with a 10-1 record and a 1.07 ERA, allowing just 10 earned runs all season. He gave up 30 hits from the 272 batters he faced.

At the plate, Tammerine batted .391 with five doubles, two triples, three home runs and 33 RBI. He scored 28 runs and struck out only six times all season.

Tammerine was a second team All-State choice in 2021 and in 2022.
