OTTAWA LAKE – The Whiteford Bobcats will host Sand Creek in the first round of the 2023 MHSAA football playoffs.

Whiteford (9-0) beat Sand Creek (5-4) in week 5 of the season, handing the Aggies a 48-8 loss.

Since then, Sand Creek has gone 4-0 and clinched a playoff berth Friday with a win over Erie Mason. Sand Creek finished second in the TCC behind three-time defending champion Whiteford.

Here are the full Division 8 pairings. The Bobcats are in Region 3, District 1. The winner of Region 3 plays the winner of Region 4 in the semifinals.

The state finals are Saturday, Nov. 25 at 10 a.m. at Ford Field in Detroit.
