For the second straight season, Whiteford will enter the state playoffs with the No. 1 ranking in Division 8.

The Bobcats received all four first-place votes in the final Michigan Associated Press poll of the season, good for 40 points in the standings. Ubly and Ithaca are tied for the No. 2 spot.

Whiteford will take on Sand Creek in the first round of the playoffs. The other game in the District will pit No. 5 Addison against No. 9 Hudson.
