PETERSBURG – Whiteford had a potential game-tying shot at the buzzer but fell in the one-possession game to the Bulldogs.
Emily Rasor led the Bobcats with 14 points. She made four 3-pointers.
“Summerfield was more aggressive than we were in the second half,” Whiteford coach Nick Brillhart said. “They forced us out of our sets and made us take quick shots.”
