MORENCI – The Bulldog defense put the clamps on the Bobcats, holding Whiteford to just seven field goals.

“Morenci limited us to one-shot possessions that got us out of our rhythm,” Whiteford coach Nick Brillhart said. “They played great defense.”

Morenci led 24-9 at halftime.

“We didn’t match their effort on the defensive end in the first half and dug too big of a hole to climb out of,” Brillhart said.

Morenci and Lenawee Christian are tied atop the TCC.
