Whiteford snaps losing streak with win over Sand Creek

OTTAWA LAKE – A great defensive start led Whiteford to a victory, snapping a three-game losing streak.

The Bobcats scored the first six points of the game and held Sand Creek to just one field goal in the first quarter.

Whiteford led 18-7 at halftime and widened the gap by five more points going into the fourth quarter.

Emily Rasor led Whiteford with 14 points. The Aggies made more field goals (11) than Whiteford (9) but the Bobcats went to the free throw line 27 times.
