
OTTAWA LAKE – The Bobcats had one of their best defensive efforts of the season Tuesday and came away with a second consecutive win, beating Erie Mason 45-24.
“The defense led the way and played outstanding all night long,” Whiteford coach Nick Brillhart said. “It was a total team effort from the opening tip.”
The Bobcat defense held Erie Mason to single digits in three of the four quarters.
Annabelle Gapp (pictured) had a big all-around game with 10 points, 11 rebounds, seven assists, three blocked shots and two steals. Emily Rasor added nine points and Shay Alexander finished with 8 points.
