BRITTON – Whiteford got a spark off the bench from Noah Stevens, who scored 14 points, and from starting point guard Lincoln Joerin, who scored a season-high 24 points.
The Bobcats built a 70-57 lead in the fourth quarter, but the Patriots went on an 11-0 run to make it 70-68. The Bobcats closed out the game with four free throws over the final 1:11 to move to 10-6 on the season.
Hunter DeBarr came off the bench to score 11 points while Ryin Ruddy and Evan Parker each scored 9 points for the Bobcats.
