Bobcats top Britton Deerfield, tied for third in league play

OTTAWA LAKE — The got five 3-pointers from Anna Schober and dominated the rebounding in beating the Britton Deerfield Patriots, 48-23.

The Bobcats are 10-6 overall. They host state-ranked Lake Leelanau St. Mary Friday.

“We had a great night defensively and on the glass,” Whiteford coach Nick Brillhart said. “We outrebounded them 40-23 and held them to single digits (in scoring) in all four quarters.

“Our defensive pressure was terrific all night long.”

Anna Schober scored 16 points to lead Whiteford to the win.
