BRITTON — Whiteford defeated Britton Deerfield 23-3 and 16-1 Thursday in a TCC matchup on the road.

Karlei Conard and Megan Butz combined for a no-hitter in Game 1, striking out four. Butz had a triple and Koralynn Billau had two hits.

In the second game, Avy Wood had an inside-the-park home run and Ava Stevens allowed just one hit in three innings of work.

Whiteford is 17-4. The Bobcats go on the road Friday to take on South Lyon, the No. 3 ranked team in the most recent Division 1 coaches poll. The game is at 6 p.m. in Canton.
