In the opener, Nate Stevens pitched a gem, going seven innings and allowing just five hits and three runs. He struck out seven.

Zayne Emch had two hits and two RBIs for the Bobcats.

Brendon Masters had two hits and scored twice from his leadoff spot. Tre Eitnear and Masters had doubles.

Eitnear was the starter, going five innings and giving up two earned runs.
