TECUMSEH – Whiteford’s volleyball team opened the season Wednesday in the Tecumseh tournament, going 1-3 on the day.

The Bobcats beat Madison 25-23, 23-25, 15-10 for their only win of the day.

The losses were to Dexter (25-23, 25-23), Monroe (27-25, 25-16) and Tri-County Conference foe Lenawee Christian, 14-25, 25-19, 15-9.

Bailey Spradling had 16 kills and 28 digs, Liv Ruehle had 51 digs, Maylie Mullins had 16 kills and Bailey Vance had 38 assists.

The Bobcats play in the Adrian Tournament Saturday.
