ADRIAN — Whiteford started its 2024 Tri-County Conference season with a big road victory Thursday.

The Bobcats beat the defending TCC champion Lenawee Christian Cougars in four sets, 23-25, 25-22, 25-14, 25-23.

“It was a solid league win,” Bobcat coach Janie Valdez said.

Liv Ruehle had 21 digs; Addeson Cousino had two aces, 30 assists and five kills; Maylie Mullins had 13 kills and Alaina McClain added nine kills.
