EDON, Ohio – After Whiteford pulled within one touchdown early in the third quarter Friday, the Edon Bombers went into another gear offensively and beat the Bobcats 50-20.
Whiteford drops to 2-2 on the season while Edon remained unbeaten at 5-0.
Trenton Eitniear scored on a 73-yard run while Mason DeBarr and Brek Ruddy caught touchdown passes from Tre Eitniear.
Edon’s Kyler Sapp had 406 yards passing and six touchdown passes. He also ran for score.
Gabe Spewiek had seven tackles for the Bobcats and Andy Trejo added six.
