Whiteford defensive end Mason DeBarr has earned First Team All-State honors by the Michigan High School Football Coaches Association.

DeBarr, a junior, finished the season with 80 tackles, including 13 for a loss. He had 11 sacks and two forced fumbles.

“He’s a force to be reckoned with and has to be accounted for on every play,” Whiteford coach Todd Thieken said.
