Bobcats fall to state-ranked Lenawee Christian

Lenawee Christian made the top 10 in each of the first two Michigan Sportswriters boys basketball polls of 2024-25 and showed Whiteford why Tuesday.

The Cougars beat Whiteford 62-48, breaking open a close game early with a strong second half. All-Stater and 1,000-point scorer Jaxon Salenbien scored 22 points, including three straight field goals during a key third-quarter stretch for LCS.

The Bobcats were led by Rylan Joerin, who scored 16 points. Caden Schroyer chipped in with 9 points.
