Flat Rock and St. Mary Catholic Central snagged No. 1 seeds and Summerfield a No. 2 seed in the boys basketball district pairings announced Sunday by the MHSAA.

Flat Rock will host a Division 2 district while SMCC is at Whiteford in a Division 3 district. Summerfield is hosting the Division 4 district.

This is the first year that the entire district is seeded. The previous couple of seasons only the No. 1 and No. 2 spots on the bracket were seeded.

Whiteford is hosting a district boys basketball tournament for the first time in school history. The Bobcats moved into its new gym before last season.

All boys district games will be played beginning Monday, February 24. All finals are at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28.

Here are the pairings involved Monroe County Region schools:

Division 1 at Monroe

Monday, Feb. 24: Bedford vs. Monroe, 7 p.m.

Wednesday, Feb. 26: Brownstown Woodhaven vs. Bedford/Monroe winner, 5:30 p.m.; Trenton vs. Gibraltar Carlson, 7 p.m.

Friday, Feb. 28: Final, 7 p.m.

Division 2 at Adrian

Monday, Feb. 24: Tecumseh vs. Milan, 5:30 p.m.

Wednesday, Feb. 26: Onsted vs. Tecumseh/Milan winner, 5:30 p.m.; Adrian vs. Madison, 7 p.m.

Friday, Feb. 28: Final, 7 p.m.

Division 2 at Flat Rock

Monday, Feb. 24: Ida vs. Dundee, 5:30 p.m.; Jefferson vs. Airport, 7 p.m.

Wednesday, Feb. 26: Flat Rock vs. Ida/Dundee winner, 5:30 p.m.; New Boston Huron vs. Jefferson/Airport winner, 7 p.m.

Friday, Feb. 28: Final, 7 p.m.

Division 3 at SMCC

Monday, Feb. 24: Clinton vs. Erie Mason, 5:30 p.m.; Blissfield vs. Manchester, 7 p.m.

Wednesday, Feb. 26: SMCC vs. Clinton/Erie Mason winner, 5:30 p.m.; WHITEFORD vs. Blissfield/Manchester winner, 7 p.m.
