CARLETON – Whiteford managed just three hits and four baserunners Monday in a 2-1 loss to Airport to open the 2025 varsity baseball season.

Brendon Masters, Tre Eitniear and Zayne Emch had the hits for the Bobcats. Caden Schroyer drove in a run and Nate Stevens drew a walk and scored the lone Whiteford run.

Tre Eitniear went 4.2 innings, allowing two runs, neither of which was earned. Nate Stevens pitched the final four outs.
