PETERSBURG – Whiteford placed second and Britton Deerfield tied for fifth in the first Tri-County Conference golf jamboree held Thursday at Deme Acres in Petersburg.

The Bobcats carded a 178, 12 shots behind winner Summerfield.

Lenawee Christian was third at 188, Sand Creek fourth at 195 and BD and Erie Mason tied for fifth with a 202.

The Bobcats were led by Chase Zawacki, who shot a 42. Cade Schober shot a 44, Brock Norman 45 and Hunter Massingill a 47 for the Bobcats.
