OTTAWA LAKE – The Bobcats remained undefeated in the Tri-County Conference with the home sweep over the Eagles, who came into the doubleheader with a 4-0 league mark.
The Bobcats won 13-1 and 19-11.
Brooklyn Mills had a big day at the plate. She had two doubles and three RBIs in the first game and four hits, including two doubles, and three more RBIs in Game 2. She also scored six runs on the day.
“She was menacing at the plate,” coach Matt VanBrandt said.
Ava Butz and Peyton Welch both went 2-for-3 with three RBIs each in the first game. Addeson Cousino had four hits, including two triples, in the second game, scored four times and knocked in four runs.
Welch was the winning pitcher in both games.
