OTTAWA LAKE – Peyton Welch struck out 12 batters to lift Whiteford to the shutout victory over Northwood, Ohio.

Welch allowed just three hits and three walks.

Whiteford had nine hits at the plate, including two each by Ava Stevens, Addeson Cousino and Welch.

The Bobcats are 12-5.
