Bobcats top LCS, tied atop league standings

ADRIAN – Whiteford picked up one of its biggest volleyball wins in recent memory Tuesday, beating Lenawee Christian in five sets, 25-14, 25-19, 16-25, 21-25 and 15-12.

The win puts the Bobcats in a tie with LCS at the top of the Tri-County Conference with a 6-1 record.

Kailee LaVoy had 13 kills 4 blocks for the Bobcats while Bailey Spradling had 11 and 18 digs.

Savannah Seevers contributed 24 digs while Maylie Mullins had 9 kills and 23 digs and 4 aces.

“It was a huge night for us,” Bobcat coach Janie Valdez said.

Whiteford is 12-9 overall.
