Whiteford’s Chiotti is TCC Champion

HUDSON – Whiteford’s Braelynn Chiotti capped off a great Tri-County Conference season by winning the individual league title Tuesday.

Chiotti swept all three TCC meets.

She is the first Whiteford girl to win the TCC individual title since 2010 when Rachel Fisher placed first at the TCC championship meet.

Briar Wing also earned first team All-TCC honors as the Bobcats placed third overall.

“Carolyn Mohler showed up big for us today to help us get third,” Bobcat coach Jay Yockey said. “This just shows how important the sixth and seventh runners are.”

In the boys TCC race, the Bobcats placed fourth. Grant Rasor was fifth and earned first-team all-league honors. He broke Erie Mason’s run at a perfect score and was the top placing freshman in the race.
