PETERSBURG – Whiteford took advantage of three Summerfield turnovers and clinched no worse than a share of the Toledo Area Athletic Conference with a 58-6 win over the Bulldogs Friday.

Mason DeBarr and Drew Ruddy returned interceptions for touchdowns. Tre Eitniear ran for two touchdowns and passed for one. Rocco Pillarelli had 126 yards on eight rushes, including a 56-yard touchdown run and Brek Ruddy had 109 yards on six rushes, including a 61-yard TD run in the third quarter.

Drew Ruddy added a 58-ard touchdown run in the third quarter.

“I liked our focus and our execution tonight,” Bobcat coach Todd Thieken said. “They had a job to do, and we came here and played our brand of football.”

The Bobcats, who came into the game as the team with most points in 11-player football in Michigan, finished with 403 yards of total offense. In seven wins, the Bobcats (7-1) have scored at least 56 points in each of those victories.

The league title is the 11th in Whiteford history and first in the TAAC.

Summerfield was held to 39 yards rushing. Reece Kalb had 134 yards passing for the Bulldogs, including a 28-yard TD pass to Austin Miller in the first quarter.
