OTTAWA LAKE – Evergreen used a big first half to jump out to a 29-12 lead and beat the Bobcat girls basketball team 60-30 Saturday at Whiteford.

“Evergreen is a very solid team with lots of strong pieces,” Whiteford coach Nick Kopp said. “We came out flat and then they never looked back.”

The Bobcats got 11 points from Avy Wood.

Whiteford is 0-3.
